This morning I saw a sign.  Not the Virgin Mary in a bagel type of sign, but a sign type sign hanging on a wall. I saw a sign and to me it was just another sign that we are all doomed. It was posted prominently on a wall outside of the station where I catch my train most mornings.

It read "Don't Lose Your Child"… seriously that's exactly what it said...

How tragic it seems that such signs should have to have been thought of, funded, designed, printed, distributed and posted in the first place. Are so many parents so absent minded that they're losing their kids with such frequency and regularity that a bloody poster campaign is needed?

If the social requirements for such signs are honest and genuine then (once more) I must question the automatic right of people to spawn children. I have two myself but never once in their lifetimes have I ever needed a fucking poster to remind me not to lose them.  They are my sons ffs, the thought that I might misplace them is ridiculous, the thought that I might carelessly lose them on the way into a station is insulting.  But if there are people who  uncaringly mislay their progeny enough to warrant a poster campaign, I'm pretty sure they're not the kind of people who are going to read that much, or take things in when they do.

Maybe a poster campaign isn't the best format for such a message, maybe a pair of garden sheers or a couple of bricks rapidly brought together or some kind of injection would be a better way to hammer it home.  I'm not saying that some people shouldn't be allowed to breed… well… yes ok that's exactly what I am saying.

But consider the knock on benefits for a moment:

  • No more stupid poster campaigns for starters
  • Eventually the phrase "I blame the parents" becomes redundant if you stop morons from becoming parents in the first place
  • The runaway population explosion could be turned around
  • Social services become workable again
  • The end of the world as we know it is pushed back by a thousand years

I'm sure there are some people who think this all sounds very "Nazi Eugenics" but to be honest I don't give a good goddamn, because no matter how unpleasant it might seem… it's not wrong.

“Neuter”… it's a damned good word sometimes.

frankly, I don't think children should be allowed on public transport anyway, unless they are bound and gagged (or drugged... whichever causes the least harm, I don't hate children, I just don't want to meet them during my day to day activities).
