Q: What the hell is braingunk?

A: braingunk is a collection of creative writings, blogs, rants and freethinking expression. A long time ago the founder of braingunk started a personal blog called Brain Dump, it was supposed to be an outlet for the random creative thoughts of one man. In time Brain Dump evolved into what you now see before you, a unique, sometimes quite acerbic certainly eclectic and quite possibly deranged entity known as braingunk.

Q: Can anyone contribute to braingunk?

A: Short answer NO. Slightly longer answer YES, please send in your words, we love them. If what you have to say fits in with the braingunk ethos then it could quite well find its way onto the site. Click the Contact button on the top menu to find out where to send stuff.

Q: Why are there no adverts on braingunk?

A: Because you don’t really want them… and neither do we. If you find braingunk entertaining then please use the donate button and send us some cash. We'll love you forever if you do and hopefully you'll love us right back for not turning into just another commercial driven advert festival.

Q: Do I have to register to read braingunk?

A: No. There are loads of articles on braingunk which are available to everyone even if they can't be arsed to register. Registering will however open up some secret areas of the site in the future and make you eligible for a number of free give-aways and competitions we're planning . It’s worth it, seriously and it only takes a minute. Oh and only registered users (or gunk junkies as we call 'em) can leave comments.

Q: Will braingunk sell my email address to evil Russian mafia types for a quick buck?

A: No. braingunk will not give your email address to anyone... ever.  braingunk detest email spam as much as the next person and will never in any way facilitate its continuance.

Q: What is the braingunk privacy policy?

A: You can view the braingunk privacy policy by selecting "Privacy Policy" from the Legal Notices menu on the right.

Q: Are the works on braingunk copyright free?

A: No. All creative works displayed on braingunk remain the intellectual property and legal copyright material of the person who created them. 

Q: If I have an article or story displayed on braingunk and I would like it removed what should I do.

A: If you have Author level access then you can remove any of your articles by yourself at any time.  If you do not have Author level access to the site, simply send an email to the submissions editor and they will remove the article for you (usually within 24 hours) and send you a confirmation once it is done.
